Back in August we wrote about Package Design Magazine's Makeover Challenge for Casa Visco sauces. Well, the votes are in and a winner has been selected. Estudio Ray, a boutique design studio in Phoenix received the most votes with their packaging makeover featured above. As you can see they created unique product labels in glass containers with a metal clamp - they are certainly eye catching designs.
Package Design Magazine enlisted the services of Hotspex, a research company, to confirm the results of the reader survey with actual consumers. Interestingly, Studio Ray's designs also came out on top in almost all categories in these tests. The Casa Visco brand of sauces now has some powerful research to justify their packaging makeover.
